HISTORY OF KVSRTEWS
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Retired Teachers Welfare Society (KVSRTEWS) was established in the year 2018 with the primary motto of resolving and representing the problems faced by KVS retired teachers and employees. If matters could not be settled through consultations or representations, the association committed to providing a united platform for pursuing legitimate issues through court cases when necessary.
The association began with an ad-hoc body, with Shri. Jagat Singh as President, Shri C.M. Dubey as General Secretary, and Shri Mehara as Treasurer .
Over time, KVSRTEWS gained momentum and took firm action in raising concerns and meeting with KVS officials to seek resolutions.
In 2021, Shri C.M. Dubey, the General Secretary, expressed his inability to continue with the association due to age and health-related challenges. Consequently, Shri Jagat Singh, Dr. Hoshiyar Singh, and other senior members decided to reconstruct the association in a formal and organized manner.
An ad-hoc body was elected to function until a National Convention could be organized. To enhance accountability and outreach, the association launched its official website on 31st December 2021.
Subsequently, a National Convention was held on 20th June 2021 in New Delhi, where a new Central Executive Committee (CEC) was elected to lead the association forward.
